* In macOS 15 Sequoia, there is a new setting under “Privacy & Security”: “Local Network”. If network access for TOPIX is not (accidentally) enabled here, TOPIX server or client will not work. More information is available from Apple.

TOPIX is no longer tested on these systems, as they are no longer supported by the manufacturers. According to current knowledge, this TOPIX version still runs on them without restrictions. However, in the future, due to necessary updates from Microsoft or Apple, 4D, TOPIX, and other involved third-party providers, unforeseen changes may occur. Therefore, we advise against planning further use of these systems. The operability of TOPIX could be affected at any time by a TOPIX update. Regardless, it is recommended for security reasons to always use the current operating systems!
